How to Migrate Data from Lastpass to 1Password?

Hi everyone! My annual license with LastPass recently expired, and so I am considering using this opportunity to change from LastPass to 1Password. But I don’t really know how to migrate data from LastPass to 1Password. Any help please?

How to Migrate Data from Lastpass to 1Password?

  • To get it started, the first step is to create a new account with 1Password. You can sign up here.
  • Next, you need to export your data from LastPass as a decrypted CSV file.
  1. Sign in to your LastPass account.
  2. Select More Options.
  3. Go to Advanced > Export. Enter your username and password if asked.
  4. Once you’ve done that, you’ll get a screen full of text. Copy all of it, paste it into a text editor, and save it as a CSV file. Now you have all of your LastPass information saved on your computer.
  • Now import your data to 1Password
  1. Sign in to your 1Password account.
  2. Click your account name in the top right and choose Import.
  3. Select LastPass from the options.
  4. Select the vault you want to import your data into. Choose Personal or Private vault for personal data.
  5. Paste the LastPass copied content into the text field.
